Located in the heart of downtown Norfolk, three historic buildings were transformed into a collaborative campus where creative businesses can work, gather, and grow together. The project blends historic preservation with modern workplace design, creating flexible spaces that encourage interaction, innovation, and community. From hospitality-inspired gathering areas to shared workspaces, wellness rooms, meeting spaces, and an expansive rooftop venue, every detail was designed to help people connect.

For MOI, our role extended beyond supplying furniture. Our partnership with Work Program Architects spans years, giving their team confidence that we understood not only the design intent but also how people would ultimately experience each space. Rather than spending time explaining their vision, the team could focus on refining it—knowing we would recommend solutions aligned with their goals, budget, and design philosophy.

That level of familiarity creates a smoother process for everyone involved. It allows decisions to happen faster, challenges to be solved collaboratively, and furniture selections to support the architecture instead of competing with it.
