USDA selected MOI to assist in the design, product procurement, and installation for the first phase of USDA’s Carver Center modernization in Beltsville, MD. We partnered with AECOM to tailor Knoll private office and workstation typicals, assisted in ancillary solution selections, and provided a streamlined mock-up process allowing decision-makers and employees to provide feedback for their future workplace.
Installation was set to take place during the height of the pandemic creating unprecedented challenges given labor shortages and supply chain delays. It was crucial for our team members to proactively communicate with the General Contractor to mitigate risks onsite and manage potential COVID-19 exposures. MOI was able to deliver this project on time and is currently working on the second phase of the modernization.
