Welcome to MOI. Can you share what excites you the most about joining MOI and taking on the role of Vice President of Sales and Interior Construction?
Work dynamics have changed, and the market looks to partners like MOI for innovation in enhancing the built environment. I’m excited to collaborate with our talented team, challenge industry norms, and have fun along the way
Given your extensive experience at MillerKnoll, how do you plan to leverage your knowledge and expertise in the furniture industry to drive sales and interior construction efforts at MOI?
My experience at MillerKnoll provided valuable industry insights into trends, client preferences, and competition. I aim to apply this understanding at MOI to identify opportunities, anticipate market shifts, and inform strategic decisions.
What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities that you enjoy in your free time?
I cherish family time and have recently replaced my usual cardio of running and hiking with chasing my toddlers around! Exploring new places and savoring food is my favorite. I’m an avid reader, audiobook enthusiast, and have a soft spot for British crime dramas.
Your background in Interior Design is a unique asset. How do you feel your design knowledge coupled with your sales acumen will provide an enhanced client experience?
My design background motivates me to seek clarity, ask questions, and deeply understand client needs, resulting in well-informed solutions. My sales passion allows me to cultivate robust client relationships, prioritizing solutions that meet their requirements and align with project constraints. This is why I’m genuinely excited to be part of the MOI team, known for its excellence in this approach with its multidisciplinary and exceptionally talented project teams. I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together.
What are you most excited about returning to the Washington DC area?
Washington DC’s culture, history, museums, landmarks, and events offer endless possibilities. Being closer to loved ones and a supportive community is equally exciting.
What is your favorite MillerKnoll product and why?
Currently, I’m obsessed with the Womb Chair, which serves double duty as a delightful reading spot for my little ones during story time, and my retreat at the end of the day. It’s a timeless piece I’ll cherish for generations, and I feel fortunate to have such iconic designs around me.
