Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) sought to consolidate three headquarters into a single, 10-floor location that would house over 1,800 staff members. PBGC enlisted MOI early in the process to assist with programming for the new space, partnering with the entire project team to understand PBGC’s vision and needs for the future.

As part of the design process, PBGC sought to maintain it’s largely private office layout while updating to a more contemporary aesthetic. Working closely with Knoll, our team specified Dividends Horizon for the workstations and Reff Profiles for the private offices. To allow more light throughout the space, our team specified lower workstation panels with frameless glass. PBGC’s new headquarters will provide their growing team with a modern space to continue supporting clients and staff members alike.
