MOI and Kimball Office hold Cinco de Mayo Happy Hour for A&D Community
May 10th, 2013On May 3, 2013 MOI and Kimball Office held a Cinco de Mayo Happy Hour at Kimball’s showroom on Connecticut Avenue. The happy hour geared toward the A&D community was a thank you for their continued support and collaboration. Designers from Gensler, VOA, Fox, KCCT, Hickok Cole and many others enjoyed margaritas, cold beers and great company. MOI and Kimball look forward to making this event a tradition!

MOI Washington, DC Showroom is awarded LEED Gold Certification
March 14th, 2013On March 7, 2013 MOI’s Washington, DC showroom was awarded LEED Gold Certification.
The 10, 400 square-foot showroom located in downtown Washington, DC is in a LEED Platinum building close to walkable amenities and public transportation. The space was designed to reduce energy use and includes features such as the controllability of systems lighting, thermal comfort design, and floor to ceiling windows allowing access to natural light. The space also incorporates low emitting furniture and materials for better indoor quality.
The showroom interiors were designed by STUDIOS Architecture in 2010 and features an open plan, multipurpose rooms, break out areas, library and conference rooms.
